For Agents
Discover and enrich companies and people, verify emails, track buying signals, score prospect lists, and push matched audiences to ad platforms. Authenticated with a bearer API key across 117 operations.
Use for: Find all companies hiring for a role in a given industry and country, Enrich a person to a reachable record with their work email and phone, Verify a batch of email addresses for deliverability, Monitor hiring and funding signals for a set of watched companies
Not supported: Does not handle payment processing, email sending, or CRM record storage beyond the connected upsert. Use for company and contact intelligence, enrichment, and audience building only.
The AstroFabric API runs autonomous research and go-to-market agents that discover companies and people, enrich them with firmographic, technographic, and contact data, and track buying signals such as hiring, funding, and news. It verifies email deliverability in bulk, builds and scores prospect lists against an ideal customer profile, drafts personalized outbound, and pushes matched audiences to ad platforms. Webhook deliveries are HMAC-signed and retried with backoff so downstream systems receive every event at least once.
Install Jentic One Beta
Jentic One is a self-hosted execution layer for AI agents. It lets your agent call the AstroFabric API, or any other public or private API you need. You set the rules, the agent never sees your credentials, and every call is logged.
Two steps, two machines. Install the instance in a safe environment, then register your agent from wherever it runs.
Step 1: Jentic One Host machine
# On the machine that will host your Jentic One instance:
curl -fsSL "https://jentic.com/install.sh?src=apis&api=%2Fapis%2Fastrofabric.ai%2Fastrofabric" | shStep 2: Agent machine
# On the machine where your agent runs (keep this separate from the instance):
curl -fsSL "https://jentic.com/install.sh?src=apis&api=%2Fapis%2Fastrofabric.ai%2Fastrofabric" | sh
jentic register # connects your agent to your Jentic One instanceJentic One is in public beta. The setup above keeps your agent separate from the instance, which is what you want before using real credentials: an agent running as the same OS user as Jentic One can read its stored keys directly. Just evaluating? A single local install is fine to start. See the secure deployment guide for the tiers.
What an agent can do with AstroFabric API.

Verify email deliverability in bulk, up to 1,000 addresses per call
Track buying signals such as hiring, funding, and news for watched companies
Build, score, and clean prospect lists against an ideal customer profile
Draft personalized outbound and push matched audiences to LinkedIn, Meta, and Reddit
Patterns agents use AstroFabric API for, with concrete tasks.
★ Signal-Driven Prospecting
A revenue team points an agent at AstroFabric to find companies currently in motion: those hiring, raising funding, or researching a topic. The agent discovers accounts by criteria, resolves the buying committee, and enriches each contact with a reachable email and phone before the list is handed to outreach.
Call POST /api/v1/tools/discover_companies with industry and employee-range filters, then POST /api/v1/tools/person_enrich for each contact
List Enrichment and Scoring
An agent keeps a prospect list clean and ranked. It adds rows, enriches them with firmographic and technographic facts, scores each row against the workspace ideal customer profile, and runs hygiene to drop invalid emails and shared mailboxes before export.
Call POST /api/v1/tools/list_enrich on a list, then POST /api/v1/tools/list_score to rank rows against the ICP
Email Verification at Scale
Before a send, an agent runs a batch of addresses through AstroFabric to filter undeliverable contacts. Bulk verification accepts up to 1,000 addresses in one call and returns a deliverability status for each, so the agent suppresses bad rows rather than burning sender reputation.
Call POST /api/v1/tools/email_verify with up to 1,000 addresses and suppress the rows returned as undeliverable
AI Agent Integration via Jentic
An AI agent reaches AstroFabric through Jentic without wiring the bearer key or reading the reference for all 117 operations. It searches by intent, receives the matching tool and its input schema, and executes the call with the credential injected at run time, chaining discovery, enrichment, and outreach in one workflow.
Search Jentic for 'enrich a company by domain', load the operation schema, and execute it with Jentic-managed credentials
117 endpoints — the astrofabric api runs autonomous research and go-to-market agents that discover companies and people, enrich them with firmographic, technographic, and contact data, and track buying signals such as hiring, funding, and news.

This API is usable in Jentic One now. Its AI-readiness score against Jentic's framework shows where it stands today and where improvements would make it even easier for agents to use.
Base layer of spec validity and structural soundness.
Aggregated quality score from linter diagnostics, weighted by severity.
Percentage of `$ref` references that resolve successfully.
Checks whether the API description parses successfully and conforms to its declared specification (e.g., OpenAPI).
Structural correctness score based on schema issues using logarithmic dampening.
Clarity, completeness, and ingestion readiness for developers and tooling.
How richly the API is illustrated with examples.
Percentage of examples that conform to their schemas.
Percentage of operations with complete response definitions (success, client error, server error).
Health of API ingestion, bundling, and resolution within Jentic pipelines.
Semantic breadth, depth, and agent comprehension for AI systems.
Coverage of descriptions across API elements.
Coverage of RFC 9457 Problem Details for error responses.
Coverage, uniqueness, and casing consistency of operationIds for AI inference.
Coverage of summaries across operations/tags/info.
Functional utility, complexity comfort, and AI orchestration readiness.
Agent comfort level based on API operational and structural complexity.
Trust, risk posture, and security compliance.

Setup
Wiring AstroFabric by hand means sending its bearer API key, verifying HMAC-signed webhook deliveries, and reading the reference for 117 operations yourself. Through Jentic you install once, import AstroFabric from the API Directory, store the key once, and your agent calls it.
Permission scoping
AstroFabric puts the list id in the URL path (/api/v1/lists/{id}), so a rule can pin your agent to one list and the read or enrichment operations you pick. Destructive actions like list archive, audience execution, or conversion pushes are not included unless you add them.
Credential isolation
Your AstroFabric key is stored once, encrypted, by your own Jentic One instance and injected at execution time. It never enters the agent's prompt, logs, or context.
Intent-based discovery
Agents search Jentic by intent such as 'discover companies that are hiring' or 'verify a batch of emails', and Jentic returns the matching AstroFabric operation with its input schema so the agent calls the right tool without browsing the reference docs.
Alternatives and complements available in the Jentic catalogue.
Specific to using AstroFabric API through Jentic.
What authentication does the AstroFabric API use?
The AstroFabric API authenticates with a bearer API key in the Authorization header per its OpenAPI spec, in the form Authorization: Bearer ek_live_. Through Jentic the key is stored encrypted by your own Jentic One instance and injected at execution time, so it never reaches the agent's context.
Can I verify email addresses in bulk with the AstroFabric API?
Yes. The email verification tool accepts up to 1,000 addresses in one call and returns a deliverability status for each, so an agent can suppress undeliverable rows before a send. The results come back as structured JSON an agent can act on directly.
Can I track buying signals for specific companies with the AstroFabric API?
Yes. Register company domains with the watch tool, then read the signals feed to pull hiring, funding, news, and technology-change events for those companies. An agent can poll the feed on a cadence and react to new signals as they appear.
How do I enrich a company through Jentic with the AstroFabric API?
Search Jentic for 'enrich a company by domain', and it returns the AstroFabric company-lookup operation with its input schema. Load the schema and execute the call with the credential injected at run time. To run it on your own infrastructure, install Jentic One from its GitHub repo.
Can I limit what my agent is allowed to do with the AstroFabric API?
Yes. Write a rule that allows only the research and enrichment operations the agent needs, such as discovering companies and enriching contacts, while withholding write actions like pushing an audience to an ad platform or executing a conversion batch. Each call the agent makes runs through your own instance and is logged.
