Setup
Wiring the Podio API by hand means running its OAuth2 token exchange at /oauth/token/v2, then threading app, item, and space ids through the api.podio.com paths yourself. Through Jentic you install once, import the Podio API from the API Directory, store the credential once, and your agent calls it.
Permission scoping
Podio puts the app, item, and space id in the URL path (/item/{item_id}, /app/{app_id}), so a rule can pin your agent to one app: it can create and read items there and nothing else. You choose the operations it may call, so destructive ones like item deletion are not included unless you add them.
Credential isolation
Your Podio OAuth credential is stored once, encrypted, by your own Jentic One instance and injected at execution time. It never enters the agent's prompt, logs, or context.
