Standard Notes API

Setup

Wiring the Standard Notes API by hand means learning its JWT bearer auth, resolving the configurable host, and threading the user uuid through settings, features and subscription calls yourself. Through Jentic you install once, import the Standard Notes API from the API Directory, store the token once, and your agent calls it.

Permission scoping

Standard Notes puts the user uuid in the URL path (/v1/users/{userUuid}/...), so a rule can pin your agent to one user: it can read and update that user's settings and nothing else. You choose the operations it may call, so destructive ones like deleting a setting are not included unless you add them.

Credential isolation

Your Standard Notes token is stored once, encrypted, by your own Jentic One instance and injected at execution time. It never enters the agent's prompt, logs, or context.

Intent-based discovery

Agents search Jentic by intent such as 'register a new user' or 'read a user's subscription', and Jentic returns the matching Standard Notes API operation with its input schema so the agent calls the right endpoint without browsing the reference docs.
