Univid API

Setup

Wiring the Univid API by hand means attaching a bearer token on every call, matching each app and video operation to its request shape, and handling responses yourself. Through Jentic you install once, import the Univid API from the API Directory, store the token once, and your agent calls it.

Permission scoping

Univid puts the app id in the URL path (/app/{appId}), so a rule can pin your agent to one app: it can read and update that app and nothing else. You choose the operations it may call, so destructive ones like deleting a video are not included unless you add them.

Credential isolation

Your Univid token is stored once, encrypted, by your own Jentic One instance and injected at execution time. It never enters the agent's prompt, logs, or context.

Intent-based discovery

Agents search Jentic by intent such as 'get an app by id' or 'list videos', and Jentic returns the matching Univid operation with its input schema so the agent calls the right endpoint without browsing the reference docs.
