Some people build APIs. Some people standardize them. Some people teach the world why they matter.
And then there’s Erik Wilde… who has done all three!
Erik Wilde Joins Jentic
Today, we’re delighted to announce that Erik Wilde has joined Jentic as our Head of Enterprise Strategy.

If you’ve spent any time in the API world, you’ve come across Erik’s work. He’s authored numerous Internet standards, taught web architecture at UC Berkeley, published extensively (8 books and 170+ papers!), and served as a trusted advisor to enterprises across finance, healthcare, and government.
His work has helped define APIs not just as technical details but as enduring business products. Through books like Continuous API Management (co-author) and his “Getting APIs to Work” channel, he has educated thousands of developers and executives on how APIs succeed at scale.
Sean, our co-founder and CEO, puts it simply:
“Erik is quite literally one of the architects of the modern web and APIs as we know them today. The fact that he’s chosen Jentic to shape the future of AI agents is a remarkable endorsement. It heralds the era of serious, standards-driven agent adoption in the enterprise.”
At Jentic, Erik will guide enterprise adoption of AI agents with a focus on open standards, secure infrastructure, and real-world interoperability. His leadership marks a milestone in our mission to build the connective layer between “AI land” and “API land.”At Jentic, Erik will guide enterprise adoption of AI agents with a focus on open standards, secure infrastructure, and real-world interoperability.
